What’s Happening?

Join us for our monthly harp gathering at the Harp Shop in Rigby, ID or online through our Patreon. At each meeting, we learn about music history and a harp ensemble piece or two. Ensemble pieces will have parts at all ability levels so even the newest of harpists can join in. This month will continue our discussion on using lead sheets. This meeting will focus on adding variety to your LH chords and giving fun examples of new patterns to try. Feel free to bring your own harp or use one of the lever harps at the shop. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our Jr. Harp Gathering is for harp students between the ages of 11-14. This harp ensemble will meet once a month and give your student the opportunity to meet and play with other harpists their age. Playing with a group will help students with their confidence, timing, and sight-reading, not to mention make friendships that will last a lifetime! Students are welcome to bring their own harps or use a harp from the shop for practice. Contact us today to sign-up!

We will briefly review what we covered in the last four gatherings. We will then give ideas on how to use lead sheets for arranging purposes and live performances, with practice tips for on the spot arranging!
