What’s Happening?

Join us for our monthly harp gathering at the Harp Shop in Rigby, ID. At each meeting, we learn about music history and a harp ensemble piece or two. Ensemble pieces will have parts at all ability levels, so even the newest of harpists can join in. This meeting will cover the transition from the Classical Period to the Romantic Period, both musically and for the harp. We will also follow how the double-action pedal harp started to be used more prominently in classical music. Feel free to bring your own harp or use one of the lever harps at the shop. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our Jr. Harp Gatherings are for harp students between the ages of 11-13 and 13-16. Each harp ensemble will meet once a month on either the 2nd Tuesday or Thursday of the month and give your student the opportunity to meet and play with other harpists their age. Students are welcome to bring their own harps or use a harp from the shop for practice. Contact us today to sign-up!
