Harps Through the Renaissance
Thursday, May 7th, 2026 | 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Join us for our monthly harp gathering at the Harp Shop in Rigby, ID. At each meeting, we learn about music history and a harp ensemble piece or two. Ensemble pieces will have parts at all ability levels, so even the newest of harpists can join in. This meeting will be covering the transition from the Medieval Period to the Renaissance, both musically and for the harp. We also will follow the decline of the harp through this period and fall into partial obscurity. Feel free to bring your own harp or use one of the lever harps at the shop. We can’t wait to see you there!

Junior Harp Ensemble

Thursday, April 16th | 6:30pm-7:30pm
Our Jr. Harp Gathering is for harp students between the ages of 11-14. Due to popular demand, we are opening a second Jr. Harp Ensemble group. Each harp ensemble will meet once a month on either the 2nd and 3rd Thursday of the month and give your student the opportunity to meet and play with other harpists their age. Students are welcome to bring their own harps or use a harp from the shop for practice. Contact us today to sign-up!

Nurture Harps – Multi-level Harp Ensemble Rehearsal
Monday, June 15th, 2026 | 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Nurture Harps is hosting their annual Multi-level Harp Ensemble again. This is a fun opportunity for harpist of all ages and abilities to come together to play and perform! This is a completely free opportunity!
This year’s theme is “Through the Sands of Time”. Sign-up on the Nurture Harps’ website to receive more information about the opportunity.
Rehearsal will be held at The Harp Shop on Monday, June 15th. An optional pot-luck will be held afterwards.
