The Lyon & Healy Salzedo is renowned for its distinct visual design and commanding tonal character, a combination originally inspired by the artistry of legendary harpist Carlos Salzedo in collaboration with Witold Gordon. With its sculpted lines, angular styling, and eye-catching details, this model offers an unmistakably modern aesthetic while delivering a full, resonant sound that projects beautifully in recital halls, studios, and orchestral settings. Whether in Natural, black, or the dramatic red finish, each instrument blends artistry with functionality for a performance experience as inspiring as its appearance.
Designed for clarity, power, and responsiveness, the Lyon & Healy Salzedo supports advanced technique and expressive nuance with ease. Players value its stability, fast response, and rich low register, paired with a bright, articulate upper range. This combination makes it a favorite among soloists and performers who want a harp with both visual impact and exceptional musical versatility. For harpists seeking a modern icon with a voice that carries, this incredible pedal harp remains one of the most distinctive models available and as iconic as its namesake.
